It's been awhile.....
Honestly, I wonder how many of my posts are titled like that? I seem to lack in the blogging department. Oh well! Life is busy and that is good. These days are so fleeting.
I wanted to share about the Lord providing us a car. Our little gas saver blew up and Troy couldn't fix it without sinking a lot of money in it. It was hurting us pretty bad driving the truck and 15 passenger van everywhere. Well, the Lord knew about it and laid it on someone's heart to give us money to buy a car. When this man offered I said, Wow! I then went on to tell him about the $800 car I found that needed some work. He said no I want you to get something nicer than that. He ended up giving us $3500 to buy a car. It is a nicer car than we could have afforded for sure. We couldn't even afford the $800 car. What an awesome God we serve to take care of our needs exceedingly above all that we ask or think. We are now enjoying our new little car!
Also we had out tent meetings in Griswold this past weekend and they were great! I can tell you that it has been awesome to remember that God loves me and cares about me. It has changed my relationship with Him. It is out of my love for Him that I serve Him and do good works. I can do nothing of myself but in Christ He does good works through me. I think one of the greatest ways He does that is to remind us of His love for us! I am His daughter and He loves me!!! I want to please Him. I want to live my life for Him. I know some that serve Him out of fear and I can tell you that it didn't work for me. I do fail daily, not willingly but daily and with the Lord being portrayed as wanting to strike me down each time I fail I couldn't even pray to Him. Yes, I went through a hard time, a desert time maybe you could say. I felt the Lord was as far off as He had ever been. Maybe I was in the wilderness, all I know is that I was alone and had forgotten that Jesus LOVES ME! Praise the Lord for His mercy and for showing me again that He has never left me, I was just blinded for awhile. I continue to grow in His love. I am being fed well spiritually and seek to continue to learn to be more like Jesus! I hope these are your feelings as well. Have a blessed weekend serving the Lord!

What a great life!
It has been awhile since I posted anything here. Sorry to neglect! Life has been full and good. I am learning and growing in the Lord and I am so thankful for that even though at times it hurts.
This pregnancy is going good. I just started a new raw food pregnancy journal. I am going to post what I eat each day. Probably have pictures at some point. It is www.rawfoodlady.blogspot.com I am hoping it will help me stay more accountable. I need it!
So I am further along than what I thought. That is exciting! Seems I didn't have a miscarriage after all. Still confused about it all but I am measuring at a few weeks more than what I should be. Only one in there, for sure! I am trying to get an ultrasound on my Dad's birthday to find out what I am having. It would be special. So my new due date is January 9-18th. So excited to have a winter baby!
Other than that our house situation may be changing soon. We are wanting to move close to Griswold. We love our church there and need to be close to them. It's so important to have that fellowship with people who are loving and serving the Lord. I can honestly say that every time we are there I am convicted, encouraged, and blessed! Such a great combination! It is also wonderful to watch the youth of the church. They are not leaving after worldliness as soon as they can, no they have pure hearts that want to keep serving the Lord. You know a church is doing something right when the youth are this dedicated. It is a beautiful thing!
Okay well, I am off to bed soon. Keep looking to the Lord, He is coming soon!

Our day at the river!
We had a fun time at the river. Unfortunately we didn't get to go mushroom hunting. It was May 14th but somehow Nebraska didn't realize it was supposed to be warm! :0) So we just had a fun time taking pictures. We are going to go back soon without coats for some nicer pictures, Lord willing. But this is a glimpse of our day!
The Lord has been greatly encouraging me in my quiet time with Him. I also have been reading some really good books. I need to get on here more often and post my thoughts. One thing that is standing out from the last book I read is about people that claim to be Christians. He likened it to someone claiming to be a farmer. Yet they only go out to the field about 10% of their total time for the week. The talk about farming and even read some books about farming but rarely get out there. It is the same with most people that claim to be Christians, sadly they are following the norm (world) right to hell. They go to church every time the doors open yet have no real relationship with Christ. They are never convicted of anything. That is a warning sign right there. If the spirit in you is not convicting you of how you dress, how you speak, what you do with your time, and so on then you have the wrong spirit. It is not the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God does convict. I thank Him for that and hope to keep growing and learning from Him! God Bless you!

Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin?
Do you know why? This is just beautiful.
Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin? Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?
I never noticed this....The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!'Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple out ran Peter and got there first. He stopped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.
Was that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it.The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished..Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, "I'm finished.."But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid itbeside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table,because......... The folded napkin meant,"I'm coming back!"
AND SO HE SHALL FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR HIS RETURN!
Someone sent this to me and I thought it was a beautiful thought. Not sure if it is all true, I'm not too up on Jewish traditions. :0) However, one thing I do know to be true is that Jesus is coming back. If you do not know Him as your Lord & Saviour I encourage you to go to His word. It's not enough to believe the fact that Jesus died and rose again, even the devils believe and tremble, James 2:19. You must make Him the Lord of your life. You no longer live for yourself but only to glorify Him. Nothing matters anymore except that which is eternal.
Seek Him and you just may find Him!

Congratulations on (Your) OUR new Baby!
Last week in Nevada, Lincoln and Cecilia Rogers found out the hard way just how little “parental rights” can mean in some situations. Their newborn daughter Lilia was slightly jaundiced, so the staff at Summerlin Hospital recommended she be kept overnight. The couple received a second opinion from a pediatrician at the hospital, who agreed with the couple that they could care for little Lilia at home. “We really wanted to take the natural approach if we could,” Cecilia is quoted as saying in a KTNV report. But their original nurse disagreed – and called Child Protective Services (CPS). When CPS arrived with a police officer, they made it clear that baby Lilia would not be going anywhere. “If you leave the hospital,” the officer told Cecilia, “I will have to arrest you and your husband.” While there are times when a medical worker needs to step in to prevent abuse or neglect, this was not such a case. The fact that the couple could readily secure a second opinion permitting the child’s release demonstrates that the child’s life was not obviously in danger. The parents also were clearly mindful of the child’s condition and concerned for her needs. They simply disagreed with the nurse that her hospital was the only way those needs could be met. Thankfully, Lilia is now at home with her parents, where she is doing just fine. The hospital, meanwhile, maintains that they have not violated any patient’s rights. Sadly, stories like this happen far too often, as the extent of parental rights in America remains vague. The proposed Parental Rights Amendment offers to lend much-needed clarity, and protection for our children and families.

My new puppy, Sugar!
This is my new puppy, Sugar! Isn't that a sweet name? :0) We needed something white and sweet! She is a little doll. She is an American Eskimo. As it turns out we may never need to buy dog food for her as she really enjoys her place under our dining room table! She will grow into her job quite well.
